ThrustMaster F/A-18 Joystick - Weapon Release Button - Not Working

Hi All,

 

I have both the TM Warthog A10C & F/A-18C Joysticks. I do not use the TM Software, and just use the button assignments directly in DCS, and specifically the 'F/A-18C Sim' panel. As you can see from the attached, it is mapped to 'JOY_BTN6'. When in the SIM, and I am in Sim mode, the missile will not launch from the rail. Gun works fine, Missiles, No.

 

Both of the Joysticks have the same issue. I am holding the button 6 in for the required 1 or 2 seconds, but still they will not come off the rail. Spacebar works just fine

 

Please can someone help me with this problem

wich missiles are you talking about? Be aware, that "weapon release" in the Hornet is only meant to launch A-G weapons. If you want to launch an AIM-7, AIM-9 or AIM-120, you need to pull the trigger.

Thank you, sorted now. I should have known it was that, due to the RAlt+Space being the Keyboard equivalent for Weapon Release, and not the straight Space which is the default Keyboard for Gun Trigger
