OldCrow Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Ok, I have a weird problem here. I've been trying to search around to find a sollution, but maybe im a bad searcher.:D Ok, so this is my problem: I installed lockon v1.0 with "run as admin", tenn installed lockon fc also with "run as admin", restarted my coputer, then applied the patch 1.12B (eng cd) also with "run as admin". Everything looks good, but then I try to start lockon, again "run as admin" and get a message of restarting my comp so the install can be completed, so I do as it says, I restart. Now windows wont start because appearently the patch added some files to my windows folder that isnt certified by windows or something. So I have to select the option "use last working configuration" or whatever to get windows started again. So basically im back to square one again. Anyone knows how to fix this problem? is there a setting I can turn off to let windows ignore the "uncertified" files? Here are the files that makes the trouble: Theres 3 of them located in Windows\system32\drivers\ sfsync02.sys sfhlp02.sys sfdrv01.sys Its got to be some files that starforce adds when installing the patch. Help very apprechiated!:helpsmilie: Oh and btw, I run Vista x64, had vista x32 before, and I had no probs then.. [sIGPIC]http://www.virtualredarrows.com/member_sigs/vra2012_crow.png[/sIGPIC]

You probably have to turn off the driver signing that is enabled by default for Vista 64 bit. I use Vista64 and installed LOFC without running anything as admin. I have turned off UAC and driver signing. Should be easy to look up how to do it , been so long I cant remember how to turn it off [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System Specs Intel I7-3930K, Asrock EXTREME9, EVGA TITAN, Mushkin Chronos SSD, 16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z series 2133, TM Warthog and MFD's, Saitek Proflight Combat pedals, TrackIR 5 + TrackClip PRO, Windows 7 x64, 3-Asus VS2248H-P monitors, Thermaltake Level 10 GT, Obutto cockpit
OldCrow Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 Alright, I fixed it! man this post was useless. Unless any others have the same prob, it can be deleted. Ok, so the solution was simply to update the Starforce drivers, so u download this small update prog from the starforce website, run it, then get a box that sayes "restart to finish the installation" and woahla!:D Cya in the virtual air!:pilotfly: [sIGPIC]http://www.virtualredarrows.com/member_sigs/vra2012_crow.png[/sIGPIC]
