No mask over SteamVR API

Well, it´s that simple, when i launch (via SkateZilla updater, i don´t know another way of launching over SteamVR the standalone version

Some fixes i tried:

 

- I tried to remove bin, bazar and DCS user folder and then make a repair, same results (with Oculus Tray Tools with my config)

- Same as above but reset to default Oculus Try Tools and dont run it, same results

 

Specs:

DCS World Open Beta 2.7.0.56590 (Launched via Skate Zilla updater)

Oculus Quest 2 (V28) via Link (Oculus PC software V29)

i9700K

GTX 1080Ti

32GB DDR3200

1GB NVMe

Windows 10 (updated til today)

It was there earlier today, I know at least one other person who had the mask disappear, and for them it was “fixed” by windows update?

Well, i have installed the DCS World Steam version, launched via SteamVR API the results was the same:

@5ephir0th I've reported the same issue when 2.7 was released. I can't see neither activate mask over SteamVR but it works normally over Oculus API. I want to run it through Steam VR because VRnecksafer doesn't work over Oculus API.

I've noticed a slight better performance with Oculus/mask on, having some less stutters on high demanda scenes.

DCS updated with today patch and still missing the VR mask on SteamVR

Hmmm... in DCS 2.7.1.6709 the mask is still gone. 

 

I wonder if the mask is just cosmetics or if it really improves the frame rate by reducing the number of rendered pixels. Does anyone know?
