HELP: Warthog stick sudden death

Hi guys, 

 

i need your help, please. 

Yesterday i had a sudden bluescreen on my windows machine. Everything was fine after a reboot. I wasn´t even usining my Warthog stick at this moment.

Now today i started up my PC again and had an error on bootup: "USB over current status detected." So i tried to figure out, which USB device might have caused this problem. After i disconnected my Warthog Stick everything booted up fine. I plugged the stick back again but it won´t show up anymore. Not in DCS nor in device manager. Seriously, i can´t think of anything i have done to this thing. It´s still very new, only a few weeks mild usage.

I tested the stick on another machine, wich is a surface pro. Nothing happens...

The throttle works finde, btw. on both machines.

 

So wtf could have gone wrong?!

Jea, i thried. Even tried another PC. No difference....

Do you have any possibility to test wether its the base or the stick? If the stick itself works, you could upgrade to a virpil base. A cheap pro micro and mmjoy2 software would be an easy test tool... plus you can use it afterwards for building a button box.

No, not possible. I only own the TMWH and no other base/stick.

Just recieved a new Warthog from amazon... crazy, but jea... 

Works like a charm. So this is not a PC-Problem, i think. 

 

Or is it possible that my PC damaged the Stick?!?!
