Found this out randomly last night, and unfortunately my flight lead ate an Rouge 120 😄

I discovered this because I have 'Sync hotas switches' enabled, but if you do a cold start with your dog fight switch in the fwd/aft position, the aircraft does not go into dog fight mode.... However it will fire which ever missile it has selected even if you are in nav/a-g/selective jettison mode.

Once you've dropped one weapon in a-g mode then on the next press a missile is not fired.

Always do your pre-flight checks peeps 😄

Hi BN,

Yeah checked and double checked. I can confirm as long as my dogfight mode switch is in the central position this does not happen, and the systems behave as intended.

Cheers

Sorry for the late update on the post BN.

A track file from my friend confirming the issue is not caused by just myself 😄 I've also provided the mission file. One thing to mention is to continue to hold the weapon release button after the weapon drop, I've witnessed a delay occasionally for the missile to go off.

Edit: I've additionally found out it's not linked to 'sync hotas at start'... You can cycle the DF switch (still leaving it the forward position) prior to start up and it still happens
