question about Lock-On Gold with Flaming Cliffs

Hello All,

 

Recently I had to reinstall Windows XP.

 

From there I installed Lock-On 1.0 and then Flaming Cliffs, but FC is asking for a serial number before it will fly, and I have no serial number: I *do* have the original media, the box and the manual, but no serial number.

 

How do I get my Flaming Cliffs in a situation where it will fly?

 

Also, like everyone else, I would like to say that Black Shark looks GREAT and we are all excited to see it and purchase it when the time comes.

And you used this specific set of disks to install Lomac w/ FC before?

It sounds like a defective disk. Because the first couple cds printed for Lock On Gold, the FC cd was messed up.

Isnt this the problem when you apply the webdownload version patch a cd copy of the game?

 

When patching to 1.12a/b, make sure you pick the cd version link and NOT the one for the download version

I am also having problems.. I install Lock On vanilla with CD, then install FC web download version, then patch with web version.

Yup thats right. If it is asking for your cd key, you can find it by going to the main lockon site (lockon.co.uk). log in there and then go to the download section. From there, your cd key should be listed below the Flaming Cliffs picture.
