Question - has the Caucasus map been used for any WW2 campaigns???

Reading about the 1942 battles between the Don and Volga and it occurred to me that I had once met someone who fought in the Caucasus.  A quick cross check on locations confirmed that both Mozdok and Malgobek are on the DCS map - significant locations on the Eastern Front

The whole Caucuses map offers amazing WW2 potential for air, land and naval units, although the Soviet eqpt would largely be lend lease and German aircraft would be out of era.

(I realise towns / infrastructure are “modern” but still the same setting)

Sure this has all been said before - not sure how it took so long for me to join up the dots 😞

Yes, it has been:

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
