element1108 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Hey guys, I'm about to buy the new macbook that's coming out in NA on Tuesday Oct 14th. Using bootcamp I'll be able to play BS (SO excited about that). Does anyone with Macbook Pro experience know if Tracker IR will work with the notebook setup? Steve has confirmed that Tracker IR will indeed work with bootcamp (thanks Steve) but I'm curious to know if anyone using a Macbook Pro (either beta BS team or having used it for LOCKON) has been successful in physically setting it up and having it run properly. I'd like to connect my macbook pro to my cinima display but I'm afraid I'll run out of USB ports with my stick setup and tracker IR. Any feedback/experience on this setup would greatly be appreciated! Thanks guys!
Zorrin Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 I haven't tried it but I've heard that you can use the isight camera very well with Freetrack. But then I've not got round to bootcamping my macs yet... Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
-sulan- Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 I use a trackIR 4 with a mac pro without problems, there should'nt be a problems with the macbook pro either I think. They're almost PC's anyway :D If you run out of usb ports you can get a usb hub I suppose..
