  1. I figured as much, but it was worth a shot at least.
  2. So rather than splash out the money on a legitimate copy of Windows so I can bootcamp my Mac I am trying to WINE it using Crossover. Black Shark as successfully installed, and runs the GUI happily enough. Apart from the fact that it doesn't recognise the keyboard, but I have yet to plug in my external keyboard to see if that changes anything. So far with the Vanilla install I've tried the instant action, but get a couple of error codes (see attached images). I'm guessing this is because there's no StarForce activation. Has anyone found a way of getting StarForce to work under a WINE environment? Edit: According to the forums at Crossover StarForce probably won't ever work with it...
  3. All of the aircraft borrow a pit from one of the normal flyables in FC. Well for the time being anyway, until we start getting community cockpits.
  4. You can do this manually... However results will vary depending on the aircraft so may require some tweaking. Create the profile for your aircraft, say the 27 and then you can copy the joystick folder from the /Config/Input/Aircrafts/su-27/ to the 29 and the 33. However don't copy the keyboard folder. The only thing you will lose in the this process for example is that you won't be able to assign a joystick button to the arrestor hook for the -33, without editing the defualt.lua in the Joystick folder. Use Notepad ++ or something and simply remove the -- comment markers that are in front of the Tail Hook entry in there.
  5. Folding wings in the F-14 will work when you are on the ground in the same style as the Su-33, however you will not see the wings sweeping in flight - if you are playing online other players will see the wings sweeping. You can already use the arrestor hook in the F-14 with the default key command to change it you can adjust the setup as per all the other aircraft in FC by changing the assignments in your options menue, but if you really want to change it to an Su-33's cockpit then you need to change this value in the CustomHuman.lua. You'll find the F-14 entry and here you can change it to an Su-33. CustomHumanData[PlaneType.F_14] = CWSType.iCWS_F_15Change this line to: CustomHumanData[PlaneType.F_14] = CWSType.iCWS_Su_33
  6. What other mods do you have installed? I guess it could be a conflict arising from a mod that makes changes to the db_countries.lua, this mod changes it to make the Harrier flyable.
  7. For the ALARMS/AGM-88s: I think the only way round that, as someone mentioned before but I cannot remember who or where, is that you have to add the Su-25T's Fantasmagoria Pod and also use the 25T pit... Might be that it got lost in the transition from the Harrier having the 33's cockpit to the A-10's cockpit. I'll have a look when I get a chance.
  8. Try ground manoeuvres with the Flight Director on.
  9. Also for the Harrier picture to appear in the Payload Editor change the BAE Harrier.png to BAE_Harrier.png in the BAE_Harrier.lua where it says logo=
  10. But if you had the chance to exact vengeance before you died wouldn't you try and pop something off before punching out? I know I would. No point in whining about it. Just accept it, and adapt to it. You now know you have to see him bang out or crash before you can consider it safe, which isn't exactly an unreasonable expectation.
  11. Maybe, but the command for release weapon has been changed to something + spacebar...
  12. Well if you look in the options menu you'll see that the keys have been entirely remapped. You need to redo your profile, more or less from scratch... But you'll see there's PDFs in the Docs section which lists the default commands. And once you have the right keys mapped you'll then find you can't shoot again (BeachAV8R was right..), you have to hold the button down for at least two seconds before the weapon will launch. So you may need to include a Hold command in your profile, don't know how it works never used the X52.
  13. Did you make sure to update the drivers from the Mac DVD after you'd installed Windows? Might be worth trying this: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2330872&tstart=120 Try http://arstechnica.com/hardware/news/2009/11/apple-magic-mouse-drivers-for-windows.ars for your mouse. And sorry never used Track IR!
  14. You could try modifying the default.lua in the Config/Inputs/Aircrafts/xxx/keyboard/ In there you can un-comment the CCIRP mode and then create a new command for it in the options menu. No idea if it will work though or whether this would be considered acceptable for online play. Once you change the default.lua you will need to delete the keyboard.lua or whatever it is called in your langauge. Thereafter you can edit the Joystick's default.lua and do the same so you can bind it to a joystick button directly through FC2. Same here though, after you modifiy the default.lua you need to delete stickname.lua and reassign your controls (probably the axes too if you are using anything that isn't just a stick with a slider).
  15. extra flyable Aircraft.
  16. Or use the CLSID generator: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=20399
  17. Gotta say FC2 and Black Shark run just fine on my 2008 MacBook Pro. Bootcamped with Win 7 and happy ever after. Less hassle than on a genuine PC! Edit: I wonder if galatai realises that the quote he has quoted is 3 years old....?
  18. Well I tried copying the F-15's performance data exactly for the Harrier via copy and paste. Added in the WorldID entry and renamed the data to AV_8B. But it didn't make a difference. I also gave the Harrier the F15's aerodynamic data. Guess I got something wrong in the code because it made no difference. Have you successfully managed to alter the flight models then? Perhaps for the Harrier because I didn't change the engine type value it rejected the changes?
  19. I haven't tried the ARM missiles yet, so sorry. But I'm sure we'll work something out :)
  20. I tried the F-16C with a MiG 29 cockpit and was able to use the laser guided mavericks and LANTRIN pod. Wasn't all the great and required switching the "radar" on and the optics. But although they wouldn't lock properly they still hit the targets.
  21. I like Mid Ohio it's a fun track!
  22. Awesome mod! I used to love the GT2 Porsches in Enduracers. Dammit now you're making me wish I had a wheel again so I can get back into rFactor. Although I never quite managed to get the setups to my likings in it, but then that's probably because of my lack of experience on the tracks and trying to set the car up for my basic mistakes of not knowing the tracks... Have you tried the Porsche Carrera Cup cars? They're a real blast for close racing with the limited setup options.
