I also get command disabled,
works outside of dcs, not while i'm in a modual
To clearify, I do not have this issue anymore, after VAICOM became community driven. Either you are not holding the correct PTT, or VAICOM hasn't recognised the correct module yet.

(Modual is not an English word, it's module, omtrent akkurat som på norsk, ).

Does the VAICOM control panel show the correct module? Are you using a correct PTT? My guess, as I've read your other posts, that you're having trouble with Jester. You either need to press the TX5/intercom to talk with him, or turn on the ICS/hotmic switch in the Tomcat. AND if you switch that switch, you need to turn off REL/HOT in the VAICOM control panel. Yes, it's a little cumbersome. And that's why I have added the option to do it by voice in my VAICOM VoiceAttack profile. Shout out if you want a copy of those commands.
Cheers!

It has been fixed. Not sure exactly how.

Bit I had so many problems from various places that I've lost control of what fixed what.

So at least for the F-14 things work(I can talk to Jester, I can talk to ground crew and I can talk to ATC.) Haven't tried AWACS or tanker yet.

Now to try and get my pea brain to remember all the phrases.

You have no idea just how many times I forgot the word "connect" when I had to say connect air supply.

Air supply on? Attach air supply? Air supply?

that word connect was is apparently hard to remember.

So doing all that Jester thing and radio communication will be hard on my little brain.

Haha! Been there, done that! It'll come to you!
A neat tip. What Hollywood did was just use the text from the radio menu, which in various cases doesn't equal what the pilot voice overs actually says. Like for tanker, you issue "intent to refuel", while the pilot voice over says "request rejoin". So I changed all of those in the keywords editor to what the voice overs are, and that made it much easier to remember.

Yeah that helps.

Had the same issue with the Ready or not voice attack profile I downloaded.

The commands didn't feel logical.

So I remade them simple like using explosives on the door and throwing flashbang. The command was something like explosives and use flashbangs. While they guy says something like blow the door and bang.

So that's what I change it too.

To use breaching shotgun it was something like ballistic and clear.

I changed it to shotgun and clear/bang.
