I use this area as well, seems relatively realistic within the given constrains. We cannot make it more realistic if there was no real site, I guess. Mostly using the F3 sector, approaching from west to east, and then only using the tip/"horn" part a.k.a. Ponti bapa/Cape Arnaoutis or west ridge of the southbound arising ridge line. Have some concrete bunkers in the woods, a target circle and a small gun strafe thingy (476 range targets mod & non shooting CTFR faction M60A Pattons) There are also no villages nearby in DCS and even today IRL according to google maps Fontana Amorosa is on the other side of the mountain ridge and ok-ish away. The rest of the island is pretty populous. There is also LCT-TSA09 nowadays. So for me in my 1988 scenario it makes enough sense.
