I am trying to repaint the CVN 75 (based on Elies grate Prince Philip skin -https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316852/) I found most decals, but i just cant find where the number on the bow of the flight deck is generated. Anybody has any clue? which file? where? thanks in advance!!! 1
prccowboy Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 (edited) it uses the Nimitz_Paint_New_Base texture, but I haven't figured out how to change it yet - it almost appears that the painted lines are elements in the model now this is the relevant part in the lua: {"Nimitz_Paint_New", DIFFUSE , "nimitz_paint_new_base", false}; Edited June 20, 2021 by prccowboy
Baco Posted June 20, 2021 Author Posted June 20, 2021 Thanks mate, yeah I have scrutinized that file over an hour, and found nothing.. maybe its part of the EDM file... I will try eliminating parts of the Alpha to check what happens...

Baco Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 The solution was very easy just eliminate the Alpha transparency. No transparency, no number. The file is: Nimitz Pain new Base And its the first thin line after the Runway demarcation line. (the one with the arrow in the picture). Just fill with black in the alpha channel and the number is gone ;).
