Rendering Shadows at Distance in VR

Its been a while since ive played the game, as 2.7 wasnt performing very well for me.
However, During a recent bout of online play over the weekend (Track too Large), Im noticing now Syria is 'out of early access', if the Server has very few scattered clouds, that Shadows are heavily rendered anyway- at distance, Which is making the Map, look Awful at high Altitude in VR..
