F/A-18C Ground and Air Starts - Hook always starts down

Hi Fellow Pilots,

 

No  matter what mission I create, when the mission starts, my hook is always down. I have everything plugged in and on, TM WartHog Throttle and Stick (F/A-18), TM TFRP Rudders Pedals, TrackIR. I have gone through the settings for the Hook, and everything hook related is either not mapped or the one that is is, cycle Hook, which is mapped to the default 'H'

 

Please can any one give me some thoughts on why this might be happening???

I don't know if "prepare mission" will save hook state. I would try to remove all control binds to hook action and make brand new mission in the editor to see what happens.
