Nruff Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 Whether im on multiplayer or singleplayer when i try to save track i get this message- cannot open file for reading C:\Users\Ruff\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta\LastMissionTrack and if i just click on watch track nothing happens. Im guessing its something ive done but have no idea what has anybody had a similier problem and may be able to point me in the right direction please?
Flappie Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 Hi @Nruff. This is unusual. Try deleting the whole "C:\Users\Ruff\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta" folder. DCS will create a new one. Then retry to save a track. 1 ---
Nruff Posted June 27, 2021 Author Posted June 27, 2021 Hi @Flappie I tried this but still doing exactly the same thing thanks for trying though
Flappie Posted June 27, 2021 Posted June 27, 2021 This is how it's supposed to happen: When you play a mission, its content gets unzipped in "C:\Users\Ruff\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta". As soon as you exit the mission (no need to click "Save track"), a file is created at this address: "C:\Users\Ruff\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta\LastMissionTrack.trk". Try this: exit a mission, then hit Alt+Tab and browse to "C:\Users\Ruff\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta". Can you find the "LastMissionTrack.trk" file? ---
Nruff Posted June 28, 2021 Author Posted June 28, 2021 Hi @Flappie no i just tried this the campaign and mission folders are empty and below those folders i have a tempmission.miz file and a few other things but no .trk files what so ever
