Hi,

I have  this system. I know its not up to todays standards but I should be able to run dcs smooth on low settings.

Cpu: amd 8350 oc'ed to 4.5ghz

ram :32gb ram X'trident @1600mhz

Gpu: Rx580 8gb

Monitor 21:9 2560x1080

Now the biggest problem I have is while I get 45 fps average with these settings my frametime is over 25ms and goes to 32 in some cases I read somewhere that it should be below 20 I also think it might affect the flightmodel.. I dont know what to suspect mostly cpu or gpu? What can I do about this without upgrading. What setting would you suggest me to lower?

Ok I will try I think my processor might be the weak point. Would it be easy to tell me how much frametime you have? its below the fps when you hit two times ctrl+pause

same gpu here, running with similar settings but normal 1920x1080/no msaa i get 45to70 fps, Mostly 60-70 on caucasus and close to 45-55 syria.

Remove msaa, it is the worst performance hit for me.

how much frame time you get?

damn 10ms is  very low frame time. Nice setup;

Update: removed msaa frametime dropped from 27ms on caucasus to 14ms Thank you very much Mattcri!!!

Also should I try forcing antiaaliasing through the graphics card?

Polaris (rx470-480-580) cards are very much bandwidth constrained, forcing msaa from drivers is mostly the same. It is just too expensive.

You can inject smaa with reshade, it looks a bit worse but it is practically free and better than nothing.
