twobells Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 (edited) I’ve been unable to spend any time on my PC because of a vision problem and it’s not going to improve. Subsequently, the best thing I can do is, sell my kit which consists of: TM Warthog HOTAS and stick (Scan £419) Oculus Rift HMD (£549) Wheel Stand Pro for TM HOTAS x2 (£336) Logitech Pedals (£142) (prices listed are current not what I’m asking of course) as the subscribers here are the most experienced with this sort of thing I wondered what you might think I could get for my kit? Mr_sukebe Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 As I understand it, it's against ED rules to try to sell modules, so that's a no to start with. The Rift (I assume CV1) is now considered obsolete. I gave mine away. The Warthog can now be bought for £420 from Scan, so I've no idea why you've listed it at £700. The rest are easily available on Ebay for you to guestimate their current value. 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

Anyway, all I did was go to Amazon and check the current prices as an approximation not that how much I wanted for it. Mr_sukebe Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 (edited) Not sure why you bothered putting up the Amazon link, wouldn't the link to Scan be more useful? That amazon price , along with the "dispatched in 4-5 days" leads me to believe it's a "placeholder" item. i.e. they don't actually have any stock, but re-listing after restocking costs them money, so they raise the price to a level no one would be likely to pay because editing an item is free. The delayed postage note is a backstop in case someone DOES try to order.
twobells Posted June 30, 2021 Author Posted June 30, 2021 Actually, that does make sense. I have been advised that there is a cheaper option available via Scan (££419). Subsequently, I edited the post to read accordingly.
