MAXsenna Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Everything was working fine yesterday, but now Vaicom is not reading what plane I'm flying and voice commands are not working.Did you close VoiceAttack before you updated, and did you start VoiceAttack again, before you started DCS after the update? That's an old issue if you didn't do this. You might try this. 1. Close DCS and VoiceAttack. Start VoiceAttack and wait until VAICOM plugin has initialized, start DCS. If that doesn't solve it... 2. Close DCS and VA. Repair DCS. Start VA, then DCS. Still have issues. 3. Close DCS and VA. Rename your export.lua. If you're using TacView, SRS, SSA etc. It's always handy to have a working copy anyway. Repair DCS, start VA, start DCS. If it's now working, close down DCS and VA. Delete the export.lua and copy the copy to export.lua, start VA and DCS. If none above works, post VAICOM log and name any mods you use. Hope this helps! Cheers! I have no issues, well, no new ATCs were imported, but tuning to correct frequency or using "ATC select" tuned me to Anderson, so it was fine.EDIT: Imported and all good upon VA start today. MAXsenna Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 @MAXsenna what do you mean by that? i am running all the mentioned apps, and am curious to know, if i am missing something. thanks Oh, I mean that whenever you install a mod/addin that uses the export.lua. It has a tendency to be somewhat rearranged, or have the latest install on the last line. Which is logical. And TacView likes to be last in line, so to speak. So whenever I have a working one, I just make a copy as a backup. I learned this the hard way, when I had to delete it after every DCS update, and VAICOM had a fit. And VAICOM, as expected, didn't recreate the lines for other software. This also have the benefit that if I install something new that uses it. I can easily compare and make changes.Hope this helps!Cheers! Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk 1
