Jettax Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Hello there, Sorry to write in the wrong place but I can't create a new topic in the Game Crash section. Well, after the last update (Mariana Islands), DCS turns off right after loading the map / unpause. It happens the same way every time. I probably did everything I could do except reinstall Windows: removed and reinstalled DCS, removed old graphics drivers, installed the latest ones, cleaned the system registers, etc. It is still the same as it was. Until the last update, I had no problem with the game. It has never happened before. I also looked for a problem similar to mine on the forum, but I did not find it. Sorry for the mess. Below is a log about the crash https://discord.com/channels/726155398691946526/726155398691946531/860146586041188353 https://discord.com/channels/726155398691946526/860147671171465266/860147699348668456
Flappie Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Are we talking about the dedicated server or the DCS client? Please attach a dcs.log file showing the crash ( C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS...\Logs\dcs.log - may appear as "dcs" ). ---
Flappie Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Your log doesn't show the crash you're describing: we can see DCS exiting properly. Please load any Marianas instant action mission in order to reproduce the crash, then attach the resulting dcs.log. ---
Jettax Posted July 2, 2021 Author Posted July 2, 2021 But maybe this will be some solution what I did thank's to my friend who solved this. Probably 99% of the problem was when downloading the update or installing it. The update was rolled back via CMD, then downloaded and installed again. From now on, the crash does not occur. Today I also checked and the problem stopped occurring, but I do not know if the problem was as described. Thank you for your response.
Flappie Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Many thanks. Two other users reported the same kind of crashes ("cask::SafeEnum<cask::md::WeightLayoutType_ENUMCLASS_SCOPEWRAPPER>::SafeEnum..."). I'll tell them to follow your path. ---
