Wrecking Crew Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Static Object Unit Name Shows In Red Text Create a a Static Object Enter a unique Name for it Copy the Name and Paste it into the Unit Name field Problem - the Unit Name shows in Red Text. Click on the map somewhere Click back on the Static Object Problem - the Unit Name is the desired, pasted name, but includes a '-1'. The '-1' has no reason to be there and is not necessary. Please fix so that the Unit Name is accepted when it is Pasted in, as is. Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms. cfrag Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 (edited) I'm not sure I understand the issue. As per manual, unit names and group names must be unique within their scopes. Although one unit can have the same name as one group, no two units can have identical names, nor can two groups have identical names. IIRC, this also holds true for static objects. Wizxrd Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 I too find myself in this situation quite often, my little workaround once I have copy+pasted the name into the field and it shows red is to just select the whole name with ctrl+a and then ctrl+v.
