Not really sure why but here in last few days I have started having an issue with Vaicom Pro/Voice Attack.

I will be in the middle of a campaign mission in the Hornet, and it just stops working. I get the beep when pressing push to talk, but nothing being recognized at all. I have to pause, alt-tab to my desktop, exit Vaicom/Voice Attack, then restart it to get it to work again.

Kind of immersion breaking when it happens especially as I fly in VR and have to raise the headset to do all this.

I am using the Vaicom launcher to launch the program.

Seems it mainly happened after this last update to DCS Open Beta. In any event it has just started happening.

Anyone else seeing this or any ideas?

Well I just went back through all my USB devices in Device Manager, looks like some got allow to sleep re-enabled at some point.

So I have looked at them all and unchecked to allow to sleep for the ones that had a checkmark in there.

Maybe that was it, will see over the next couple of days.

Seems that was it. Have flown my single player Hornet Campaign for the last two days and so far has not happened again.

I just have to remember to go back in and check those power management settings on my USB's  after each Windows update.

One thing that has happened to me that causes it to seem like it's not responding is if the PTT keys are pushed to fast or multiple get triggered at the same time I have run into a situation where the listen and release commands get reversed and it stuck in a sort of hot mic state where it still thinks the PTT button is being held, and pressing the button has the opposite effect of making it stop listening.

I found this out because the buttons are dying on my throttle grip and this was happening somewhat often because I have PTT set on a hat switch with forward back and depress, so when I would use depress it would fidget back and forth rapidly sometimes and get stuck this way.  The only real reliable way to fix is to restart voice attack in this scenario.  But rapidly mashing the ptt keys will sometimes reverse the process.
