Zad Fnark
Hi, I'm having issues aiming the laser sight on the Vanilla 25. It moves left/right/up/down just fine if I haven't stabilized the sight. Once I "Lock" it, it really doesn't move correctly in the direction I want it to go. I can try to move it right, and it takes some weird right/up movement instead, or some other direction. It just won't directly move in the direction I'm trying to feed it. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing? I'm using my Warthog controller and using the 4 way switch on the front of the throttle. Thanks Ed Questions are a burdon, and answers a prison for one's self.
randomTOTEN
nah that's just how it works it works much better with very short, fine, corrections. large commands to move cause the errors you see
Mike_Romeo
I think its correct how it is. The crosshair is stabilisized by gyros and it will move correctly up down left right as long you dont move the plane. If you move the plane, you are moving the gyros and if they are moving, they cant translate your inputs correctly to the aiming sight. Zad Fnark
Thanks, Guys. I wasn't sure if it was working as intended or some issue at my end. I'll live with it. Try to be precise before locking. Questions are a burdon, and answers a prison for one's self.
Floydii
Trim the jet as best you can before trying to move the cursor. The cursor moves alot better if you're travelling directly at the target. Also locking as close as you can initially is a good idea.
Zad Fnark
I always have the vain hope I can cap off two missiles in a pass. Not likely as missile ranges aren't that great. ... the downside of laser guided weapons. Questions are a burdon, and answers a prison for one's self. Hodo
You can fire two rockets at once. Just space them out. If I see two targets close I will fire at one count to 2 then fire the second. The first will hit and then I slew the laser on the second. It takes practice but you can do it. 1
