Steel Jaw Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Reason: trying to use a script for the F16 and the author instructions say: Works only if you load the 3 DCS command profiles provided, in the proper categories (Keyboard/Thrustmaster Virtual Device/Thrustmaster Virtual Device Axis) "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB.
Rudel_chw Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 (edited) They go at /Saved Games/DCS/Config/Input/F-16C_50/ ... each on their own sub folder (joystick, keyboard or mouse) Be aware that you probably already have .diff.lua files in there, in particular the joystick file uses a special name that varies from PC to PC, for example mine is "Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar {4240B3C0-32FE-11ea-8001-444553540000}.diff.lua" ... so you may need to rename the file that you are trying to place there, or DCS won't recognize it. You can also use the LOAD PROFILE button on the Options -> Controls screen, to import the file that you have been given and avoid having to rename it by hand. Make backup copies just in case.
