Missile/flare smoke trail is stepping instead of realistic continuous (latest beta)

Hi, 

 

recent beta is showing missile smoke trail is stepping (previous beta it was visually good and realistic) in my rtx2060. All updated -driver, windows..

Hey man,

 

Yeah, it’s kind of missile goes first, then the trail follows behind after it in some mili secs( definitely greater than 100ms to distinct it). So, the missile object and its smock trail has a delay greater than 100 ms, it should be less than 100 ms to make it seemingly continuous. I checked my frame rate, its 60 fps, 16.67ms per frame.. something spooky going on.. possibly model issue or else.. idk 🤷‍♂️..

Please attach a short track (try an instant action CAP mission for instance) along with a screenshot of your issue.

 

So far, I think a mod could cause your issue but I'd like to see what you see before telling you what to do.

Thanks for the video. Now I understand very well. If you're using an external graphic tweak such as ReShade, please try without it.

 

If not, please attach:

  1. your dxdiag log
  2. your dcs.log file ( Saved Games/DCS.../Logs/dcs.log - may appear as "dcs" )
  3. screenshots of your AMD/NVIDIA graphic settings
