AWG-9 Phoenix support question

Greetings! Can the AWG-9 support Phoenixes if the F-14 is inverted? I understand the communists must be in the radar gimbal limit and in the cone of the TWS search volume, but does own-jet attitude have any bearing on AWG-9 support abilities? Trying to do some really evasive maneuvers while firing off against 4 MiG-31s - I understand it's a losing proposition to go 1 v 4, but still, this is causing me to try and eek out every bit of performance from the Tomcat. Any insights you have would be greatly appreciated! o7

Looks like you went outside the gimbal limits, and yes it can work inverted.
