rob s Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 Hi I bought the virpil warbrd base to be combined with the warthog joy but I have no connection between them. Do you need to install the virpil software? Given that I removedthe two screws of the base and tried again on the warthog base and everything works
zildac Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 (edited) Yes, you need to instal the Virpil software and "tell" the WarBrd base you are using a Warthog stick Edited September 16, 2021 by zildac 14900KS | Maximus Hero Z690 | ASUS 4090 TUF OC | 64GB DDR5 6600 | DCS on 2TB NVMe | WarBRD+Warthog Stick | CM3 | TM TPR's | Varjo Aero
Lange_666 Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Once this is done, no need for the Virpil software again. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

Also note that by default the trim hat requires multiple pushes to operate as opposed to just holding. You can change this behaviour if you wish, as outlined in the post below: 14900KS | Maximus Hero Z690 | ASUS 4090 TUF OC | 64GB DDR5 6600 | DCS on 2TB NVMe | WarBRD+Warthog Stick | CM3 | TM TPR's | Varjo Aero
