Kvack63 Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Hello! I'm looking for the dimensions of the throttle and stick in the MIG-21 as a wish to build a functioning replica to be used with DCS. Has anyone any ideas on where I could get a hold of these dimensions or point me in a good direction? Thanks in advance!

Kvack63 Posted September 25, 2021 Author Posted September 25, 2021 Alright thanks a lot! As there seem to be few if any dimensions for the stick, could you export the DCS model and use that either directly or as a reference? If that wouldn't be possible, do you know of any other accurate models of the cockpit that I could use?

hlousv1 Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 (edited) Hi there I'm currently making blueprints from a real used vintage throttle quadrant. I put everything here to our schoold fanpage where we build the simulator cockpit of mig-21. These parts are extremely complicated to draw, it took me already about two weeks doing it 3-4hour a day I will put out 3D models and autocad drawings both to the facebook and here for thingiverse. Goal is to have printable quadrant made of around 30 pieces.. so you can either make it work yourself or just use it as general guidance for what you need. Here is just a quick heads up for what the quality will be. I 3D print everything and compare it with the real parts so I can guarantee its not wrong sized. Pardon my englihs its 0:52 AM and Im totally wasted from modelling these nasty things. I will soon have a flight stick from MiG-21 PF that will be 3D scanned and available here too. https://www.thingiverse.com/hlousv1/designs https://www.facebook.com/mig21sim/ Edited November 2, 2021 by hlousv1
