WarbossPetross Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 I would like to add for posterity that you should also calibrate the altimeter with the value they tell you when you request landing on the carrier. Don't know about other DCS modules but the Tomcat in particular can't tell land from water. Its radar altimeter shows the distance to the seabed, not the surface, as it was the case IRL, kind of a big deal when you can't tell how high you are at a glance.
