fixed Rain effect is missing?

Hi folks, I'm sure that when the new clouds first appeared I had visible rain droplets flying through rain-bearing clouds. Also I had the noise of droplets hitting the canopy. Now I have neither... and this has been the case for a while now. 

 

Is it just me?
