Map Markers, Even numbers only

I was flying a joint mission last night with our sister Hornet Sqdn, the f10 map had waypoints 1 to 13, each of these was labelled of course, the Tomcat element were given WP's 8, 9, & 13 , these were Tgt WP's, when using jester to input the co-ords only the even numbers were shown on the wheel, the work around was to input the Lat / Long and designate as Surface Tgt & Fixed Point for WP's 9 & 13.

Either I was being a complete cock, or is there a valid reason for this being the way it is.

Agreed, i get this too. What gives?
