iwn Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Got my Virpil Warbird base, Alpha R grip, T50 CM3 throttle plus collective and KA-50 grip last week. It seems impossible to map panning to hat switch. It works in Virpil software rx/ry and tester and it works also in FSX, although being too sensitive. In DCS and IL2 hat is not recognized at all so I cannot look around and thus not able to fly and even less to fight. This far I´ve tried to map it in F/A-18. As hardware works, what should I do in game options? P.S. I know that most use Track IR or VR. I´m updating to VR as soon as GPU market stabilizes.
iwn Posted October 18, 2021 Author Posted October 18, 2021 Well, I´ll just take these Virpil things to attic and take back the trusty Logitech 3D Pro. Its cooler to fly than adjust.

Perhaps you could try your luck on the Virpil website forum. Might get a quicker answer there than here. 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
iwn Posted October 19, 2021 Author Posted October 19, 2021 Thanks, I made a bit of progress. DCS found the rx/ry axis by command "Absolute Camera Horinzontal View" and "Absolute Camera Vertical View". So it had nothing to do with "view", or "look" or "glance". It is just too sensitive at the moment, should find a way to make it slower. But now I can at least move on.

You should be able to decrease sensitivity there (at the cost of range) 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
Gizzy Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Reduce your 'Y' axis on both axes .... that will do it... Start off around 50% and increase until you get desired response. 1
