Spookygnu
Hi all, Little new to skinning and coding for DCS. Can someone assist me with organising a folder for multiple skins? We have 9 members in our sqd. At the moment, we have a single folder each with one skin and custom nametags and decals for each member. Now, as the RAF has various skins, ie: camo, winter, grey desert, I would like to edit the description.lua to allow each folder to have all the skins in one. The current skin in each member's folder is just grey. Can I edit the description.lua to allow multiple skins into that folder. This is to condense the liveries directory down. Otherwise, there will be 36 folders for the sqd, plus the default AV8BNA skins in the directory adding another 20 or so. I would rather have the textures files for each skin in each member's own folder. Could someone assist in helping code the description.lua please? Megalax
One skin, one folder, one description.lua. That's how it works. You can't condense all skins into one folder. Even if you did, you'd still need one folder per description.lua, so you'd be back to having 36 folders.
