  1. Hi all, Little new to skinning and coding for DCS. Can someone assist me with organising a folder for multiple skins? We have 9 members in our sqd. At the moment, we have a single folder each with one skin and custom nametags and decals for each member. Now, as the RAF has various skins, ie: camo, winter, grey desert, I would like to edit the description.lua to allow each folder to have all the skins in one. The current skin in each member's folder is just grey. Can I edit the description.lua to allow multiple skins into that folder. This is to condense the liveries directory down. Otherwise, there will be 36 folders for the sqd, plus the default AV8BNA skins in the directory adding another 20 or so. I would rather have the textures files for each skin in each member's own folder. Could someone assist in helping code the description.lua please?
  2. no I'm not complaining, I'm saying that not supporting it after people have had to buy the ka50 to use the mod is unfair. why do you have to sound patronizing. Typical forum speech again. Hence why I tend to NOT to want to post on forums much nowadays. I'm just looking for a solution to use the mod so I can justify buying the ka50. Was that not simple to understand.
  3. So you are not planning on updating it for users who use the OB? I followed all the instructions and I even went as far as applying the updated textures. I can't see any missions. I can't sit in the cockpit and control anything. Basically can't do much else apart from view Ai having all the fun. I placed another aircraft down at the same time in the editor, switched to that and then flew for a bit. The apache taxied to the runway took off flew around and landed. I landed my jet. Then played back the track and could only sit in the pilot seat and view what was happening. Could not take control at all. Everyone seems quite happy with the mod, (for those that seem to have it working) I even put my hand in my pocket and brought the KA50 for using this mod. To say you won't keep updating for the sake of the open beta is a bit unfair imo. Some people like myself have forked the money out to buy the module to use your mod. I know with updates constantly being added etc can be a pain in the backside, but you could state in the release that it will only be supported for stable not OB. Or vice Versa. I don't know about anyone else but I'm a little confused on where to go with this mod now? Do I switch from OB to stable and discover it doesn't work in there? meaning, I've wasted my money on buying a module I din't actually want just for this mod. Do I hope that you will update the mod for OB and then see if my money wasn't wasted? Or could someone please explain to me where I "may" have gone wrong with the installation. I don't think it is the installation tbh, only because I have followed the instructions to the letter, which isn't that difficult. Really don't know what the solution is for me to be able to fly the apache. Its a good looking mod and Kudos to yourself Patrick for putting it together, just theres a little issue in here somewhere which is stopping me and some others from being able to use it properly. Maybe having some indepth resolutions stated to solve any future issues before people like me go out and buy the KA 50 only to find they come across issues and then bin the idea of using the mod.
  4. Well the store page on my steam account said this content will unlock in less than an hour from now, (6pm gmt). If it doesn't I'll just wait a little longer. The world isn't gunna end if it doesn't drop today or this week, the next. I'm sure theres some crochet or knitting we can all do in the mean time.
  5. I have elevation data and sat imagery for 100kmsq area of north wales, including the mach loop. Basically from the north corner of deeside at Talacre across to abersoch, including the whole of anglesey, right down to aberystwyth, then across near llangolen. Its massive. Not as big as the DCS maps, but I managed to import it into Arma 3, which was why I made it.
  6. I stumbled across you DL page from an f35 thread on the mods forums, so apologies for the lack of digging on my part. I just saw the mods and began downloading then looked into how i get them working, urgo we are here at this point. Thanks again for doing this mod set, can't wait to try them out fully.
  7. i'll have to look at getting that then. its £40 i can't spare atm. Should that fix many an issue i may have now then? I was also curious to the cockpit and avionics of other aircraft being used as a supplement for the mods. How does that work?
  8. Wow! just Wow! thankyou razo+r for uploading these mods. I'm new the world of dcs mods and after i worked out how to actually see the aircraft in game, I'm at a loss as to how i actually get in them. I can see them fine from the f2 and f3 keys, but i have no pilot view or control over the f14B. Pressing f1 does nothing. Can you advise how I can sort this or redirect to somewhere that can I can get some information on it. Theres 50 plus thread here and it'll take me an age to find what i might need. Thanks again.
  9. I have to disagree, I think you'll find it is at the bottom and then shows the custom config in green below it.
  10. https://pastebin.com/pRMDZrBN above is my monitor setup. Ideally would like to stay on beta if anyone can help? I have tried switching the left over with right and that didn't fix the issue. So I am at a bit of a loss on how to fix this.
  11. Thanks beetle. Will try that. Just means my flight instructor might need to change to his aswell all because of me. Hehehe.
  12. This is not an isolated case. I have the same problem. This was after the last update aswell. I use freetrackNOIR (pointtracker) Will post my monitor setup Lua file.
