Nealius Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 I've been getting a lot of _TMRDAR_ grades recently and, when I check my cockpit recordings, I'm crossing the ramp at about -750 or -760fpm with the trap at around the same descent rate. Every real-world HUD tape I can find of a Hornet trap shows -750 or even -800fpm at the ramp with the trap between -900 and -1100fpm. The only way I can avoid a TMRD grade is by coming in real shallow at -550fpm or so. Is the TMRD grade too sensitive like when we had an overly sensitive EGIW notations, or does every real-world HUD tape on YouTube happen to have the same variation from normal parameters?
