Nealius Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 Yes, but there should still be some kind of fusing system to set off the smoke charge that comes out the tail. I've been trying to find ways to get them to hit without fusing, because the smoke plume in DCS is both too large and lasts for too long, obscuring the target for follow-up runs and preventing any kind of BDA until they all decide to stop smoking.
SGT Coyle Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 There is no fusing select for BDU-33. It's a simple impact charge on the nose. The whole point is to give the pilot a visual reference of impact. I don't disagree that the smoke time is too long, but I think your better off playing with the chimney slider in settings. I think it reduces all smoke produced in game, be it duration or intensity. 1 Night Ops in the Harrier IYAOYAS
