Mission 2 - Escort - can´t kill them

I tried the campaign and in the second mission I am not able to kill those separatists in town.

 

They appear out of dark and kill my whole convoy, I am not fast enough to target them.

 

Can anybody help me with any tactics.

 

I have only rockets and gun.

 

Playing on highest realism.

You at least have a simulation in which you cannot complete one of the missions...

 

We just have the internet explorer in which we see just a bunch of screen shots:)

 

Settle for that mate and pick another mission:)

I completed this mission following way: I hovered across the village before convoy reaches it, then I saw first group of separatists in forest near the road and destroyed them with the gun (note - your second wingman can't attack them at this moment because it recognizes peoples as target only when they start shooting, but convoy haven't reached the trap yet). When scout BTR reached the village, trigger was fired and BTR was attacked by the new separatists who appeared on the right side of forest. I sent command: "Attack ground targets" to the wingman (It began firing rockets) and at the same time started shooting remaining separatists with the gun. After all visible targets were destroyed, I handled forrest with the rockets to make sure. And then mission was completed! :pilotfly:
