How does one assign a road base or FARP as a landing point in the Mission Editor? So far all my attempts have resulted in the closest base to the starting point being selected as both L1 and L2.

EDIT: I know it can be done on the F10 map using markers, but these will be air-starts so that's not available. Thus it needs to be done in the mission editor.

Fairly sure the FARPs should have their own ID number assigned to in the kneeboard. If there are multiple FAPRs in the mission it might be useful to name the FARPs something easy to find in the list, as it can be difficult to know which is which.
When you have the ID you can just enter it like any other airfield: 90xx and LS, L1 or L2.

In this case that doesn't work, since the map is Syria which already have too many airbases to show on the kneeboard.

Hmm, in that case just increasing the code by 1 until it shows the correct place would work I guess. Albeit not quite as elegant as one might wish it to be, it should work.
If it's only 1 FARP in the mission it should be 9051.

Testing with just a single FARP gave code 9052... Though I'd still prefer if something a bit more user friendly was available.
Like what if the mission requires the use of more than one FARP...? Like for example one for a road base, but multiple helicopter bases

Another quirk I ran into during testing, it seems ships also gets their own codes in the list. Since it would set those as L1 as well, if they were the closest at spawn.

Yep, I think anything you can theoretically spawn on/at get one assigned to it. For ships that would probably be a helipad on it.

This is what I get on the airbase kneeboard page on Syria. Almost 20 bases are missing, and no space for FARPs or anything else.

Though all of this is mostly just workarounds anyway... I'd still like to know if there actually is a way to assign L1 and/or L2 points to road bases or FARPs in the mission editor.
And if there isn't, then I'd like to ask Heatblur if something can be added to allow for this.
