area denial ai air to air task

i would like to see a way to set rectangle area and make a ai aircraft only shoot down things once they enter it

There is an engage in zone, but it creates a circular zone of a set radius, if we could attach it to user created trigger zones that would be great.

Failing that, you can work around this using the search then engage advanced waypoint action, and use triggers such that they engage aircraft entering whatever zone.

also im unsure but i think aircraft can still some times Engauge aircraft out side of that zone

You should be able to set it up such that they don't using the triggers, I'll give it a go later today.

But if after that they engage aircraft outside of the zone, then that might be an AI issue.
