Tomcat Cannon problem

Hey all.

I'm having an issue in the Tomcat with the 20mm (both A and B). On a particular campaign mission the gun seems to be empty on startup and even after resupplying it remains empty. I understand the ammo indicator knob's function but in conjunction with resupplying I'm not too sure. Am I doing something wrong?  Thanks!

Open the particular mission in ME to make sure the ammo is loaded. If yes, then it's you, probably forgot to change Air Source to Both.

If I'm reading this right, you're seeing a discrepancy between the ammo indicator and the actual ammo in the gun?  If you're cold start, you will have to manually enter the rounds with the indicator knob.  If you then fly, fire the gun, land, and request rearming, be sure that ammo is set to 100% on the arming screen, then when you hear "rearming complete," you will have to manually set the ammo indicator with the knob, or it will continue to show whatever your ammo state was prior to your rearming the aircraft.  If your gun isn't firing at all, it may be as Draconus said - Air Source switch.

I have this exact problem in an older mission that I made on the Caucasus map.  I had reset the ammo counter, and set the air supply to 'BOTH'. Still, no guns when I needed them.

The problem does not exist on the Syria map - I have not tested other maps yet. On Syrian map my guns work as they should.
