Cold Start HUD symbol??

Hope anybody can clarify what im doing wrong when im cold startin with the Jeff

I have followed the training mission, Spudknockers startup and grim reapers and doing what they do but still i get the same error all the time.

The issue is that i dont get the correct hud when doing coldstart, Instead of the normal one i get something that looks like a old bombsight or similiar???

I have attached a picture showing the hud symbol.

 

When i do missions etc where it is hotstarted i get the normal hud.

You have to move the STBY RET knob to the OFF (Full left) position, because that's a reticle for emergency use

While I won’t tell you to not watch them, the GR are known for not being very accurate or correct in their tutorials despite their volume. Perhaps it’s good to see things in action, but I wouldn’t use them as a single source and trust everything they say or do. I have especially found there Jeff videos often egregiously incorrect, likely due to it being largely unknown and complex that they just don’t spend much time in it
