[Investigating] Undesignate button is designating the current waypoint

With no designation, pressing the undesignate button is placing a TD diamond over the current waypoint in the EHSD, however it is not boxing the DESG option on the EHSD.

afaik, Expected behaviour is to do nothing if undesignate is commanded with no current designation.

I noticed it too. I can't disengage the Waypoint steering mode. Didn't notice that before. Is there a new procedure?

Seems like a bug, we're reviewing the designation system as a whole.
