Error while loading BS

All,

I weakened and bought the Russian version of BS. I get the error message 'This application has failed to start because pthreadGC2.dll was not found'. The app then goes on to load ok ... anyone any ideas?

 

A search showed that there are 2 threads in the Russian forum relating to it but, not speaking Russian I'm no further forward

As far as i understand, this problem is related to codecs:

 

This file is related to codec. Delete this codec.

 

Also, as this post states, the problem was resolved when user deleted Vista Codec Package and installed K-Lite.
