thrustmaster TWCS throttle, F18 A/A HOTAS RADAR PROBLEM

A radar mess.
I use thumaster joy plus Hotas throttle. all in sim mode. Hate easy modes.

Radar altitude impossible to stay "calm" .

Radar altitude button is axys one button. So I fight to keep radar fixed, stopped, it always goes up or down, so neves at proper altitude. impossible to do anything else while fight...I end up crashed wiht no bandides detected long enough to fire

I have tried a lot of times. Is a blind F18. Impossible to make an air combat. Only dogfight with sidewinder works OK.

Please make an option to play with A/A radar easier. not much, but some. PLEASE.

Or fix it.

Are you using the axis rotary wheel?
The TWCS is a simplified Hornet throttle. Use the spring loaded button on the front for the Hornet and the axis wheel for the Viper.

If you really want to use that axis, make sure it's an absolute one rather than relative.

I use the middle finger rocker switch for elevation and it works great.
