Mission 9??

I'm a bit confused about what I shoud do there:

• I took off and follow route as planned.
• Somewhere in the middle of wp 1-2 route leg I received the order to turn 105 and stay low from Overlord.
• I did as request and flown 105 mag, 1200ft NoE over hills and mountains till past Tuapse and more far to SE.
• No further communications from Overlord.
• Enemy planes never spwan (checked with F2 ceveral times).

What I did wrong?

Btw: In a previous attempt Overlord asked me to climb angels 330...

WoW! I thought I was flying the F-5, not the Space Shuttle!

Ok, got it: It looks like precision in waypoint overfly is critical in this mission, probably trigger areas are really small.

Mission completed.

Dear SorelRo,

One minor thing regarding this mission, the plane starts with one wheel outside the airfield, and when asked for runaway ATC, send me to 04 (witch is on the other side of the airfield), I ´m only mentioning this because on one video I saw the active runaway was 22, and the plane starts the mission inside the airfield, anyway it´s not really a problem, just informing you.

Another thing, do you have any hints regarding this mission? I´m finding it really challenging,

I´m supposed to engage the mig 23?

I send my wing to attack them with the command attack bandits but they don´t really do a great job, I go for the bombers, but either the mig´s catch up with me and shut me down while I´m pursuing the bombers (I have managed to shot downs 2 of the 3) or the last one evade me and trying to follow it I´m shutdown by SAMS

1) The parking problem is actually a bug in the map (the parking area is misplaced) not in the mission.

2) AFAIR in that mission you have to concentrate on bombers, while other planes will take care of escorts.

The runway position should not affect this one, although it's annoying with ED is changing the active runway like this. This is all about climb and sticking with the bombers. your flight, if you maintain your flight integrity will help with the fighters, intercept course is important, using your missiles for the 2 bombers then going in for guns on the third one, he will shoot back. he dives and turns so, you should be able to catch him, although he is quite fast.

3.Attack bandits

4.Cover me

I have the game in Spanish language so perhaps the menu says something a little different in English or your language.

Usually I use Engage Bandits.

For that mission engage bandits works, for AG and if you want your wingman to be more heroic use "cover me" on AG he will go for the AA, on AA missions it will go for the threats near you. most of the time he will die in the process but he will buy you a few moments.

Well mission accomplished¡¡¡

This is a thought one I repeat it like 10 times… finally I used “flight engage mission and rtb” and they did engage the MIG 23 (engage bandit´s didn´t work for me), I went for the bombers I shut down 2 with missiles and the other one with guns, It was very exciting to fire with guns at the bomber while he is firing returning fire with the rear gun.

I received damaged engaging the last bomber, thanks to the TACAN I was able to return but near 5 miles from the base I was forced the land due to the status of the plane. Thank god victory condition was landing, not necessarily on the base

I´m enjoying the campaign very much.

A landing you can walk from is good in my books. It makes your heart jump when that bomber start spraying at you, and you know you have to press on.

It was more like a heart attack, but it was great fun¡¡¡
