bdik111 Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 Hi there, I have a problem that drives me nuts.... Can`t figure out why this is happening. During flight, screen turns black and monitor tells me that there is no signal. There is no way to bring it back other than hard reset of the computer. Happens more with F16 and F14; almost never with the F18. Sometimes I can fly for an hour, sometimes 5 mins. Tried many things.... - Windows is up to date. - Display Drivers are up to date (clean install) - Created new Savegame - using MSI afterburner to make sure it`s not a temp problem. I limited the power to 95% and 75 degrees. Using user defined curve for fan and it barely reaches 62 degrees now - went on lower graphic`s setting but no difference - File repair with FSC as it complains about access violation of d3d11.dll in crash log (attached). Graphics card is 980TI, the rest of the computer is new. 32 GB RAM, i7 10700, SSD PLEASE HELP!! dcs.log dcs.log-20211212-223024.zip dcs.log-20211216-190709.zip

There are no dcs.log reports in ZIP files. Can I ask you to use automatic sending of report packages to the ED server? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/logs/
bdik111 Posted December 17, 2021 Author Posted December 17, 2021 Maybe because one of the last things I did was creating a new save game folder? Yes, I did all of this and I did it recently. Also repaired the dcs installation. I will use the tool recommended, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately it has to wait for a week as I’m going out of town for the holidays. I’ll keep you updated thanks
bdik111 Posted January 4, 2022 Author Posted January 4, 2022 Ok here I am again, had the game create a new save game and ran the repair after that. That has helped a lot and I was able to play for several days now with no issues.... until it happened again. I cannot send the auto message as my monitor goes black and doesn`t come on again. So I have to restart the computer. But I installed the autoexec and my log looks different now. Here is the entire content of my log folder. Hope that helps. dcs.log.old dcs.log dcs.log-20220104-020051.zip debrief.log
