Just packed my gear up from a full day of flying SH2 with the Aero.

Big thumbs up from me on this one. DCS is just gorgeous in it, and that crisp cockpit clarity is awesome. I am running it at full native resolution and my fps is running 38-42 fps. But still giving me a pretty smooth experience, not seeing any crazy artifacts going on either.

Now I will say this - some folks are all about the image clarity, some folks are more about the FOV in the horizontal and vertical. If FOV weighs heavier on one than image clarity, probably should not spend this kind of money on the Aero. But, if one cares more about the quality of the image than the FOV, then if one has the money for it I would certainly recommend it, cause there ain't nothin else out there at this time that could come close to what I am seeing in this headset.

The horizontal FOV "feels" a little larger to me than it actually is. Maybe because like 90% of the lens is the sweet spot. Or maybe because the vertical FOV is so small. Not really sure, but I do not have a problem with the FOV cause that gorgeous image just supersedes it to me.

I find the headset quite comfortable, takes some adjusting to get the fit just right, but once there it is very nice. The fan blows a little air on the face, I notice it when I first put it on but quickly forget about it. I am sure it does a good job in helping keep things cool in there. Was not a big fan of the sound using the included earbuds - but that is not unusual for me as I usually prefer to use earbuds plugged into my Creative sound port on my motherboard.

Is it worth the cost? Hard to say and that really is dependent on the individual. I am certainly very glad I have it now, no regrets there. Could not see me ever going back to either my Vive Pro 2 or Reverb G2.

Thanks great feed back. What’s the nose clearance like. Do you use glasses?

Just a very small space as far as nose clearance. No, I do not use glasses.
