Japo32 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 I never had this problem and now I am having it and don't remember change anything in DCS appart of the new beta update. When I connect any multiplayer server SRS autoconnect. That is great... but when trying to use Vaicom it don't respond. When I quit SRS then no problem. Of course I tried to use the SRS integration option and SRS vaicom option with same result. Now what I see is that I have a red mic icon on the top right border of voice attack that I think I didn't have previously. It is not a problem if SRS is not running. Any clues? In any case in some months we will change all to the new voice chat, but until there I need the SRS program. Thanks
Wood Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 I've noticed a noticeable difference after the update. The issue I see is lag when using Viacom with most aircraft but the one that is mostly effect to the point where it only works once is the huey. Nothing on my end changed with regards to Vaicom or SRS except the last major DCS update. I hope they update SRS and Vaicom soon. Dangerzone Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Hmm... I had vaicom go on the fritz last night for me. Making that high pitched 'zzzt' sound when I made calls. Closing Vaicom and Voice attack while in the server (SRS already connected), and restarting Voice Attack fixed the issue for me. Not sure, but maybe it has something to do with SRS launching or connecting after Voice attack?
Japo32 Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 No. There is no way. Start Vaicom after SRS, there is no way of making it work. Or you use SRS or use VAICOM. not both at the same time. There was a time where I could use them without any issue. As said in another post I started (didn't remember I started this one) Vaicom is going worst everyday. Not only this but also problems in Huey, Rio latirn functions not working well lot of them, old orders that once worked now not.... and if we have to way months for everytime that hollywood appear to fix something then I don't know how long is going to take to fix all of this. A shame because it is a great program with great potential, but....
Japo32 Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Ok.. have been trying different options in SRS and seems that "Allow More input Devices" once SRS is restarted all is back to normal. I didn't have to use this option previouly as always has been "on" but will keep trying. 1
