  1. For me it’s the opposites. cold start works much better. Getting 45-60 FPS. Until I turn the TADS on and then 5 FPS. Frustrated to say the least on the inconsistency from day to day. As long as I don’t turn on the TADS.
  2. Forgive my ignorance here, but with Oculus users, is there no way to set a a line in the autoexec that will disable AWS altogether instead of using the hot keys or using the OculusDebugTool?

  5. During the past while I've been noticing a large mount of errors in the logs.   10. Sure of course. I’m running and i7 with 32gigs Ram with a 4060Ti. First, and don’t get me wrong. The Quest 3 visuals were awesome with the exception of a little distortion when looking up that I can’t explain. However, for me it was comfort level. It was the worst headset for comfort that I’ve used so far. So much so that I could not wear it for more the 30 minutes and at times less without taking it off or readjust. I realize that there is optional head straps out there. But out of the box for something that is free standing they could have did something better. Second issue was battery life and that was a big issue. With certain items reduced as per recommendations to prolong the battery life I still found it limiting to about 90 minutes if I was lucky. Keeping it plugged in while using it did not help from what I saw. as for the Oculus software that’s on me as I never did like the oculus software from day in. I would always have to start DCS using the virtual desktop it seemed where with the reverb it was start DCS and put the headset on and your go to go for hours. Cheers Wood That’s another option I was looking at as well TED. My concern is I’m in Canada and I’ve heard issues with shipping and chargers.
  11. Hello everyone. Happy New year to all of you. I hope you had a great holiday season. Kind of sucks but prior to Christmas my Reverb G2 pooched after 4 years. it so, I ended up trying the Quest3 which I thought was awful for multiple reasons. So I ended up returning it. The last month has been researching VR headsets. Honestly, even though the reverb had issues I got spoiled by not going through the hassle as you do with Oculus and its software. Sim time is huge for me and the time I spend flying adds up very quickly and found new headsets such as the quest is very limited on battery life. The only good thing for the Quest is not tracking stations which I want to stay away from if possible. So, I’ve been flopping around pimax and Bigscreen beyond. Both expensive but I’m leaning more toward BSB but heard from a friend that it’s not good for PC gaming and Sims in particular. So, I was wondering if anyone is using bigscreen beyond headset and the thoughts on the subject to as if it’s worth the money. Pros and cons about DCS or MFS use as that’s all I use my VR for. thanks in advance for any detailed you can provide Wood

  14. I just wanted to shout out a big thanks to everyone on the ED team. I’m beyond impressed with what’s been coming out, from DCS MT (multi thread) which is a huge game changer to giving us major changes for the dedicated server use. The ongoing updates that takes this sim one step closer to perfection. But the one thing I’m most impressed about is how you actually listen to the people and build on that.   15. Hi everyone. I loaded Liberations back up on my Server recently after been away for a while., I'm running multiple instances on Windows Server 2016. The server has no video card whatsoever and only allows 800x600 or 1024x768 resolution. When opening Liberation on the server I can not get it to fit the screen and only able to see part of the interface at one time. Does anyone know of a way to se able to set it so it can fit in that resolutions. Other then that Liberations works like a charm running it on a dedicated OB server. Cheers Wood
  16. Hey. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it but I honestly don't believe its from the script. Errors in the code are indicating both the SB3 and the KC135. If it was just he SB3 then the script would be a really possibility.

  18. Hi all. First thanks for the update on 2.8. Since the update things seemed to have changed on the dedicated server for open beta. Not sure what it is as the logs show no errors from what I see. prior to the update I was running four separate instances and now not one will start. Every time I start an instance from using the DCS GUI utility it seems to not want to load and continues to show loading. Logs within the instance shows no errors but the log in the Dedicated OB server shows multiple errors but nothing relating to starting an instance. not sure if this is now an issue with the GUI or what. Can some one point me in another direction to have multiple instance running other then using the DCS GUI utility so I can test it out. regards Wood

    Wait what? Are you saying a dedicated server will need all theatres added. I thought as a dedicated server the theatres were not needed unless your actually using the actual DCS world standalone. the dedicated server as indicated "DCS World Dedicated Server" installer installs a special DCS World version which intended to work as a dedicated server and doesn't contains textures and sounds. Installed server takes approx. 170 GB on HDD and works as a full-functional server controlled only by WEB (i.e. without any GUI features). This version already includes ALL available terrains and WWII units module, works without 3D graphics and sounds. Terrain and WWII units doesn't asked activations when launched in server mode without rendering, server owner shouldn't buy them. NOTE: these "free" terrains can work ONLY on dedicated server without rendering. You can't use them on the client.
  20. I’m seeing the same thing on our NTTR. Server. It’s seems to only be happening to the AI aircraft. Particularly the tankers. I’ve gone through the mission with a fine tooth comb. Not saying a lot because of the hair loss and can’t find a thing. The mission works flawlessly in SP but in multiplayer it’s a different story. I’m scratching my head for months already trying to figure it out that maybe it’s my server. But I’m not seeing it. I run windows server 2016 with 1gb upload 50 download so that’s not the issue. I’m no IT tech so something is bogging it down but can’t figure it out for the life of me. Cheers Wood
