PLUTON Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 hello, since update 2.7.9 OB & Stable I have a huge loss of fps when it comes to the retro M2000c are on and this on all cards and everything goes back to normal when I turn them off. Am I the only one?
PLUTON Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Considering the number of responses I must really be the only one with this problem. But I forgot to say that this problem occurs on the map of Syria only
Boosterdog Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 Ill have a look at mine @PLUTON and report back MSI Tomahawk X570 Mobo, Ryzen 5600X undervolted on Artic Freezer E34 Cooler, RTX3080 FE, 32GB (2x16GB Dual Ranked) GSkil 3600 CL16 Trident Neo RAM, 2X 4th Gen M2 SSDs, Corsair RM850x PSU, Lancool 215 Case. Boosterdog Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 (edited) @PLUTON by "retros" do you mean mirrors? (I recall you mentioning them in another thread? ). Assuming you do (I often assume wrong) - I did a quick flight at about 200- 500Ft above the small towns to the SW of Al Qusayr then over Homs. Aside from drop of about 8-10 fps Id expect to see with mirrors and a further 4-6 fps drop dependent upon the detail over towns shown in the miror I didnt see anything that stood out as unusual other than the very heavy perfomance cost of the map. Are you running anything like Vsync? If the mirrors are causing your frames to fall below the monitor's refresh rate, it will automatically half your frames. Syria is performance heavy in comparison with the Caucasues and even the Persian Gulf for the most part. If, for instance I do a similar flight over Tiblisi or Ras Al Khaimah, with mirrors on and with my settings the same I get around 87 fps minimum. Over Homs, which is similar in density I think, its a 65 fps minimum. At 4000ft AGL the diffennce flying directly over the towns or countryside is still about 15-17 fps. PLUTON Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Thank you for the answer. Yes I use Vsyng at half of the monitor refresh and it is with this setting that my DCS is fluid except with the mirrors of the 2000 since the last update, before this one it did not. and yes I had put it in another queue but have my say to put it here
PLUTON Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 Google translation not always correct Please excuse me

I rarely fly with mirros in helicopters for the same reason. I know the mirrors in the M2000c look bad when you toggle them off. I wish Razbam would allow them to be completely disabled like other modules do.. This is a "fix" for the "off" mirrors it that may work. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3317524/ MSI Tomahawk X570 Mobo, Ryzen 5600X undervolted on Artic Freezer E34 Cooler, RTX3080 FE, 32GB (2x16GB Dual Ranked) GSkil 3600 CL16 Trident Neo RAM, 2X 4th Gen M2 SSDs, Corsair RM850x PSU, Lancool 215 Case. myHelljumper Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Hi, If this problem only occurs on Syria, I would agree that the issue comes from the fact that the map is very demanding. You could try to increase the size of your operating system disk page file, this helped me with performances on this map. Thanks.
