This issues accured after I tried to open a very old mission (pre DCS 2.5.0) and a full repair and removing all mods didnt helped. I can create new mission but even in the ME, I can open any missions

Try the following:

1) On windows file manager, enable the option to view hidden files.

2) navigate to C:\Users\{your user}\AppData\Local\

3) rename the "DCS.openbeta" folder that is at that location, say rename it to "DCS.openbeta.bak"

This will force DCS to recreate this temporary file location the next time you run DCS.

Check if this solved the issue.

Hi, I could not reproduce with 2.7.9.17830, and can not update at the moment (presently at skiing, so only mobile internet available). However I took a look at the log, and starting from line 1066 there is an error related your problems (line 1075).

Added:

I googled for missionTheatreCache and got something similar that suggests you can delete/rename MissionEditor subfolder located in SavedGames:
